Intro: She is a freshman in high school, taking ap,classes and trying to get through it with out having to deal with the horrors of high school, she ends up finding a group of friends and in that group there is a girl who is really pretty and June falls for her, trying to understand the new emotions she is taking on while being the only peace maker in the friend group and mama bear she also has to keep her grades us so she can skip a grade to graduate early. Her journey is just beginning and this is it. We are reading in the perspective of her journal she writes in. Not a diary but a journal. We also have Serbian chapters where it is through the point of view where we hear dialogue and other things, she loves to run she wakes up at 3:30 in the morning to run so that she feels she can persevere through the day. When she runs she get in to this pace she calls cloud nine where she can’t feel anything but her in her own mind running and everything bad that was going on disappears and the stress releases.
